"Family led crisis planning promotes a tipping of the scale back to balance, in a holistic family centered way. Crisis may be about the youth in need, or may be about another family member. Family led crisis plans need to be mindful authentic, meaningful, usable, and family OWNED. It helps to strengthen bridges between the family, the informal network and the formal provider network. It should increase self management skills over time, and evolve as a living documents as these changes occur naturally."
